Classes usually include asanas (postures), pranayamas (breathing techniques) and relaxation techniques such as small meditations or yoga nidra/yoga nap.
The asana sequence is usually build on the Kaivalyadhama tradition, i.e following the developmental stages of human being: from lying down in supine, prone, kneeling, sitting down and finally standing postures. However these vary according to the participants.
The pranayamas taught at the beginners level are gentle and cooling/relaxing.
All these techniques are taught while progressively developping our awareness and knowledge of the practices themselves and of their effect on our body and mind.
